On the morning of November 13, the tanker "Lecong" carrying 65 LNG tank containers arrived at Jinzhou Port. This is the first time that China has used LNG tank containers to realize the "South-North Gas Transport" by sea to meet the needs of the north. An innovative attempt to clean and heat the area in winter and ensure safe supply. In the inaugural voyage ceremony, Shiyuan Group became the first LNG tank container receiver, leading the audience!

 

It is reported that this "south-to-north gas transmission, sea-land combined transportation" is a new type of natural gas transportation. The National Development and Reform Commission, the Energy Administration, and the Ministry of Transport jointly approved the pilot trial of CNOOC's innovative LNG transportation method. It is of great significance to clean heating gas and ensure safe supply.
