To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up, the Bayi General Star Painting and Calligraphy Institute of China organized some old generals to create a series of paintings and calligraphy works, and touring exhibitions in ten cities across the country. As the last exhibition in Shenyang, it was opened today in the exhibition hall of Shiyuan Group headquarters.

 

This is an exhibition of calligraphy and painting works spreading positive energy. Most of the more than one hundred works on display were made by the old generals of the Republic such as Qian Guoliang, Zhang Guozhi, and Ji Dong. Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Bayi General Star Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Shiyuan Group President Liu Yuqiang and group leaders delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Leaders from relevant units in the province and Shenyang, some artists, news media, and the public attended The opening ceremony. After the opening ceremony, five old generals and the former deputy minister of the Ministry of Commerce and other old leaders held a pen meeting with Shenyang and provincial and municipal calligraphers and painters on the same stage to create a batch of calligraphy and painting works for the majority of calligraphy and painting lovers to appreciate.
